1.2 Nature of the application
Erlyc is a web application that turns plain-language product ideas into structured project boards, written specifications, diagrams and generated application source code, using third-party large-language models (AI).
IMPORTANT: everything Erlyc produces — specifications, diagrams and generated code — is AI-assisted draft material, not reviewed professional work. Erlyc provides no engineering, security, legal or compliance validation of any kind. You must review, test and validate all output before relying on it or deploying it.
1.3 Definitions
- "Application" or "Erlyc": the web application accessible at erlyc.com.
- "Boards": the guided project canvases (brief, needs & data, solution shape, operating model, spec map) on which a project is designed.
- "Specification": the written, versioned description of the User's application produced from the Boards.
- "Generated Code": application source code (including database schemas and demo data) generated from the Specification and diagrams.
- "Credits": the prepaid units that meter AI usage on the platform (Article 5).
- "Seed Library": the shared catalog of administrator-approved, anonymized demo values described in the Privacy policy.
- "Showcase": the public community gallery of published project snapshots.
- "User": any natural or legal person using the Application, without distinction of professional status.
- "User Content": any idea, text, board answer, specification edit or other material the User puts into the Application.
- "Account": the personal space giving access to the Application's functionalities.
- "Services": all functionalities offered via the Application.
Article 2 — Acceptance and modification
2.1 Acceptance
Creating an Account requires express acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy policy via the mandatory checkbox on the registration form; the date of acceptance is recorded. Any use of the Application implies full acceptance of these Terms.
If you do not accept these conditions, do not use the Application.
2.2 Modifications
EXELLECT SAS may modify these Terms at any time. Substantial modifications are notified by display in the Application, by email to Account holders, and by publication on erlyc.com. When a new version of the legal documents takes effect, you are asked to review and accept it in the Application before continuing to use the Services.
Users benefiting from consumer protections under their national legislation retain any termination rights those laws provide.
Article 3 — Access to the application
3.1 Access conditions
Access requires an Internet connection and a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript enabled.
3.2 Plans and early access
The Application offers free and paid plans, without distinction of professional status; plan contents and prices are described on the in-app pricing page. Erlyc is currently in early access: the Early access conditions supplement these Terms, and new registrations may be temporarily paused when the platform's AI capacity is depleted.
3.3 Account creation
Account creation requires a valid email address, a secure password and acceptance of these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
Regarding legal age: if you are a minor under the laws of your country of residence, you must obtain authorization from your parents or legal guardians before using Erlyc. EXELLECT SAS does not collect or verify user ages — complying with the legal requirements of your jurisdiction is your responsibility.
Article 4 — Description of the services
4.1 AI-assisted nature of the services
The Application allows Users to: develop an idea on guided Boards with AI coaching; generate and iterate a written Specification; derive screen maps, entity diagrams and database schemas; generate application source code and demo data; download specifications and Generated Code; ask contextual questions answered by AI agents; publish snapshots to the public Showcase; optionally deploy a generated application to an Erlyc-operated test server; and exchange with other users on the community forum.
4.2 Explicit limitations
ERLYC DOES NOT PROVIDE:
- Professionally reviewed or validated specifications, architectures or code
- Security audits, penetration testing or compliance validation of Generated Code
- Legal, regulatory or contractual advice of any kind
- Any guarantee that AI output is correct, complete, secure or fit for a particular purpose
AI models make mistakes: output can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure or unusable, and identical inputs can produce different results.
4.3 Third-party AI processing
AI features are performed by third-party model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) reached through the OpenRouter routing service, under the conditions described in the Privacy policy.
Article 5 — Financial conditions
5.1 Credits
- AI usage is metered in prepaid Credits. Credits are not money, carry no cash value, earn no interest and are non-transferable.
- Monthly plan credits are tied to the subscription period and expire at its end.
- Purchased top-up packs are valid 24 months from the date of purchase. The validity period is shown at purchase; a reminder email is sent before expiry; credits still unused when their validity ends are forfeited.
- Credits are consumed soonest-expiring first: monthly plan credits are spent before purchased packs, and packs closer to expiry before newer ones.
- Current plan contents, pack sizes and prices are shown on the in-app pricing and credits pages; prices are displayed all taxes included.
- Certain deterministic operations are charged at flat rates or free of charge, as indicated in the Application.
5.2 Purchases
No online checkout is currently available. Credit packs are purchased by contacting support; payment is settled out-of-band (bank transfer or invoice) and the pack is credited to the Account by an administrator. No payment-card data ever transits or is stored on the platform. An online payment flow may be introduced later; it will be governed by the conditions displayed at the time of purchase.
5.3 Right of withdrawal
For consumers in the European Union: by requesting immediate provision of purchased credits, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost for credits already consumed. Withdrawal for unconsumed credits within the legal period can be requested via support; refunds follow the applicable legal procedures.
5.4 Refunds
Outside mandatory legal rights, refunds of credit packs are handled manually, at EXELLECT SAS's reasonable discretion, by reversing the purchase and the corresponding credits. Contact support to request one.
Article 6 — Responsibilities and obligations of the user
6.1 User responsibility
The User uses the Application under their sole and entire responsibility and undertakes to:
- Review and test all Generated Code and specifications before relying on them or deploying them
- Respect the laws applicable in their jurisdiction
- Verify the compliance of their projects with the technical, security and regulatory requirements of their context
- Not use unreviewed output for critical systems (medical, financial, safety-related or similar)
6.2 Professional use
If you use Erlyc in a professional context: you assume the entire responsibility for the tool's adequacy to your needs; you must have output reviewed and validated by qualified professionals before delivery or production use; you may not present Erlyc output as professionally validated deliverables; and you indemnify EXELLECT SAS against any claim related to the professional use of your output.
6.3 Prohibited content and behavior
- Content that is illegal under applicable laws or infringes third-party rights
- Inappropriate or offensive content in community spaces (Showcase, forum), which are moderated
- Attempts to intrude into, overload or disrupt the services
- Attempts to manipulate, bypass or probe the platform's AI safety filters (prompt injection and similar techniques)
- Using the Application to produce malicious software or other harmful output
Article 7 — Disclaimer of liability
7.1 Fundamental principle
EXELLECT SAS disclaims all responsibility concerning: the use made of specifications, diagrams and Generated Code; their technical correctness, security or fitness; decisions made on the basis of AI output; the consequences of deploying or commercializing applications built from Generated Code; and damages resulting from professional or personal use of the output.
7.2 Web application limitations
Erlyc being an early-access web application: no guarantee of uninterrupted operation; dependency on Internet connections, browsers and third-party AI providers; technical evolutions possible without notice.
7.3 Limitation of liability
Within the maximum limits permitted by law, EXELLECT SAS excludes liability for financial losses linked to the use of output, design defects or errors in generated artifacts, inadequacy to specific needs, service interruptions or data loss, and acts of third parties based on the output.
In case of residual liability, it is limited to the sums actually paid by the User to EXELLECT SAS during the preceding 12 months, with a maximum ceiling of 100 €. This limitation does not apply to bodily injury or to damages resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct by EXELLECT SAS, in accordance with mandatory legal provisions.
Article 8 — Intellectual property
8.1 Application ownership
EXELLECT SAS owns the Erlyc web application, its proprietary algorithms and functionalities, the "Erlyc" and "EXELLECT" trademarks and proprietary graphic elements, and its editorial content. The Application integrates third-party libraries (open source and commercial) used in accordance with their respective licenses.
8.2 User content
The User retains ownership of their User Content and grants EXELLECT SAS a limited license to host it, display it in the Application, process it through the AI pipeline, and share it according to the parameters the User chooses (e.g. Showcase publication). Demo values contributed to the Seed Library follow the regime described in the Privacy policy: unreviewed contributions are deleted with the project or account; administrator-approved values remain in the library, anonymized.
8.3 Generated output
The specifications and code generated for the User's projects belong to the User, who may freely use, modify, deploy and commercialize them. Generated Code may include or depend on open-source components governed by their own licenses. The User may not present Erlyc output as professionally validated deliverables, nor engage EXELLECT SAS's responsibility for its use.
8.4 Publication on GitHub
When the feature is available, the User may optionally publish the generated code shared in their Showcase entry as a public repository under the Erlyc GitHub organization, under the open-source license the User selects; the User confirms they hold the necessary rights. Publication happens after a short moderation delay.
- Unpublishing from the Showcase archives the repository: it becomes read-only but remains publicly visible.
- The repository is deleted when the User requests it (the "Delete GitHub repository" action), when the project or the Account is deleted, or by moderation for content that violates these Terms.
- Deletion does not recall copies: clones and forks made by third parties while the repository was public are outside EXELLECT SAS's control and persist on GitHub.
- GitHub is a third-party service operated by GitHub, Inc. (United States) under its own terms of service.
Article 9 — Personal data
EXELLECT SAS processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable laws, as described in the Privacy policy. DPO contact: [email protected].
Article 10 — Availability, your data and evolution
- Availability target: 99% excluding scheduled maintenance; interruptions possible without notice for technical emergencies and during early access.
- Your exports: specifications can be downloaded in standard formats (Markdown, HTML, PDF) and Generated Code as a source archive — you are encouraged to download and keep copies of what matters to you.
- Test deployments: optional deployment of a generated application to an Erlyc-operated test server places it at a public address and wipes it automatically after approximately 72 hours.
- Account deletion: available at any time under Settings → Profile; deletion is immediate and permanent, as described in the Privacy policy. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
- Inactive accounts: accounts showing no activity for more than 24 months may be closed after prior notice by email (60 and 30 days ahead); any remaining credits lapse with the account.
- Evolution: EXELLECT SAS may evolve the Application, with notification of major changes; the Early access conditions apply during early access.
Article 11 — Legal provisions
Consumer protections: Users benefiting from consumer protections under their national legislation retain their mandatory legal rights (withdrawal, legal guarantees, protection against abusive clauses, consumer mediation).
Dispute resolution: amicable resolution first, via the in-app support page or [email protected]; consumers may resort to the competent mediator under their legislation.
Jurisdiction: consumers — courts of the consumer's domicile or of EXELLECT SAS's registered office; other users — competent courts of EXELLECT SAS's registered office.
Applicable law: French law, subject to mandatory provisions of the User's country of residence for consumer relations.
Article 12 — Final provisions
Document hierarchy: in case of contradiction, the Early access conditions prevail for early-access matters, then these Terms, then the Privacy policy.
Entirety and partial nullity: these Terms constitute the complete agreement regarding the use of Erlyc; the nullity of one clause does not affect the validity of the others.

Important warning
ERLYC PRODUCES AI-GENERATED DRAFTS, NOT VALIDATED DELIVERABLES. Before relying on or deploying anything produced by Erlyc: have it reviewed by qualified professionals, test it thoroughly, verify its security and its compliance with the rules applicable to your project, and keep your own copies of the exports. EXELLECT SAS assumes no responsibility for the use you make of the generated output.
